Course Description:

This course will provide a comprehensive overview of Parkinson's Disease for the interdisciplinary team. Topics will include pathology and clinical presentation, medical management, examination and evaluation and evidence based treatment including treating the disease across the continuum of care. In addition to didactic learning, participants will practice performing commonly used standardized tests for PD, and will practice some treatment approaches for the Parkinsonism patient.
